Who are we ?

OUR HISTORY

 We are located in Jausiers, in Ubaye Valley, at the heart of the Southern Alp.

Our store is a self-managed group of two cooperatives: a cooperative of craftmen and craftwomen, and a cooperative of farmes.
Born in 1992 with the union of about 20 producers wishing to promote their terroir and create synergies in their sales, we today bring together more than 80 producers from Ubaye, with few "guests" from other villages in the Alpes de Haute-Provence.

And it's just a begining!

Because the Ubaye valley is plural, it seemed only natural to the Maison du Pays de Jausiers to offer all the artisanal products symbolizing the region. This is why customers benefit from a wide choice of local products.

- Drinks: your shop in Jausiers invites you to discover genepi liqueur, violet syrup, limoncello or the typical wine of the region.

- Fresh products: goat's cheese, Tomme de l'Ubaye, sausages and other mountain sausages invite you to discover the valley's traditional cheeses and charcuterie.

- Grocery: treat yourself to all the specialties of the region. Between chocolate with genepi, homemade spread or marmottins, there are wonderful culinary discoveries waiting for you.

- Care and well-being: take care of yourself with the region's emblematic cosmetic products, such as floral water, lavender-scented soap or donkey milk soap.
